GAP...

GAP is a group for young people from year 10 upwards (ages 14-18), and meets during the morning service at Eden on the first and third Sundays of the month. Some weeks we study Bible passages in preparation for the sermon of the following week, encouraging the young people to attend the service a week later, ready to listen and engage with the sermon. Other weeks we review the sermon from the previous Sunday, thinking about how to apply what we have learnt to our own lives. We also spend some time learning Bible verses together and thinking through questions which the young people may have from the Bible, or discussing issues which they are faced with at school/college/with friends.

On Monday nights GAP meets as a housegroup at the home of Chris and Rebecca Anderson from 7.45-9.00 pm for Bible study and prayer, with time for cake and chat! This term (Summer 2010) we are studying the story of Joseph and looking at how God's plans and purposes come about, and how our own responsibility fits in.
