In any church we need to find ways to find ways to get to know people better so that
mutual support is possible.
House Groups are one of the most important ways of deepening relationships
and providing a place for this kind of mutual care and encouragement.
A House group usually has 10 - 20 people, who meet together once a week
in someone's home for Bible Study, prayer and discussion. Every group is
different, but the aim is always to encourage and support one another,
and to develop fellowship within the church.
Typically a group will start with a Bible study or a discussion topic
lasting about an hour. This will then be followed by a time of prayer (for
each other, the work of the church and any major issues). Finally there
will be coffee and biscuits and a chance to catch up on news.
As you can see from the programme there are a variety of activities, from
social events, to education events, and even church cleaning.
There are groups meeting all over Cambridge and in some of the surrounding
villages, including north & south & central Cambridge, Milton and
Cottenham.
Please contact Hal Talibudeen via the if you would like to be in a group.
