Mission...

He said to them ,"Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation". Mark 16:15

As a church community Eden is strongly committed to world mission.

We support a number of missionaries from the congregation who are dotted across the globe in Central / South America, the former Eastern bloc, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the Far East. They serve God in many different ways: one is the president of a theological seminary, others work as Bible translators, English teachers, and University lecturers. All of them seek to work with the local church and reach unbelievers with the Gospel.

We support them by praying, funding their work, and organising pastoral visits. Copies of their prayer letters are available and various mission magazines can be found in the concourse area of the Chapel. We encourage individual correspondence between members of the fellowship and our missionaries. Twice a year (in April and November) we have a Mission Sunday and that helps us to keep our focus on reaching the world with the Gospel. We also support students and others in short-term overseas projects.
