Prayer meetings Prayer is an important part in the life of our church - there are three regular meetings:

All church prayer meeting

Second Thurday of the month, 8:00pm

All church members and others committed to Eden are asked to give priority to the monthly whole church prayer meeting, which replaces the housegroup meetings which normally take place on Thursdays.

It provides an opportunity to give praise and thanks to God for what he has done in our lives both individually and as a body, and to bring our needs and aspirations before him. Topics for prayer cover individuals, groups within the church, our missionaries and right the way across the spectrum including major world wide issues.

Wednesday evening prayer meeting

For those wishing to pray together more regularly, a smaller group meets every Wednesday at 8:00pm except in those weeks when the whole church prayer meeting takes place. The meeting offers an exciting and challenging window on to what God is doing in the church, and gives us the opportunity to pray that God will work in Eden to bring conversions, baptisms and growth in every part of the ministry.

Periodically we have visitors and leaders of groups within the church to tell us about specific prayer needs.

Sunday morning prayer meeting

A small group meets faithfully every Sunday morning at 9:30am to pray specifically for the services due to take place on that day, that the preacher would speak God's word clearly and that those who hear it would be blessed as a result.
