EQUIP

Equipping Christians for whole life discipleship

Equip is a series of learning and training sessions open to the whole church. It is run as a series of modules, each of which run over several weeks, with the occasional one-off evening in addition where a number of parallel tracks offer insights nto a wide variety of topics

The current Equip course is a series of four sessions on the bible and doctrines. Each session is on a Tuesday night from 8.00 - 9.30pm.

29 January - The Canon of Scripture

Pete Williams (warden, Tyndale House) led this session, which examines issues related to the reliability of the documents that make up the bible. How was the canon formed? What documents did it leave out and why?

12, 19, 26 February - The Apostles' Creed

Simon Gathercole (lecturer in New Testament at the Divinity Faculty, Cambridge University) will teach three sessions on basic Christian doctrines using the Apostles' Creed.
