Two church assistants to start in September
At a recent meeting, the church approved the appointments of Angelica Donner and Andrew Widgery as church assistants, starting in September. The three will replace Lois Davey, Susan Mills and Neil Roques who have been serving since September last year.
Church assistants carry out a wide range of practical tasks in the day to day running of the church. They also spend some time in study and training, with a view to possible future involvement in long term Christian ministry of some kind.
