Moses' wrinkles

How many wrinkles do you think Moses must have had? Let's do some sums: after 40 years in Egypt, 40 years in Midian and 40 years in the desert, that makes.... A lot of them! Of all the causes for such wrinkles, which ones must have been the worst? I'd say those that lacerated his heart (not only his skin) when he saw his fellow Israelites worshipping the golden calf.

How about those wrinkles arising from being before the Divine Presence in the Tabernacle? Such "radioactive" encounters must have left more than just the occasional glow here and there. In view of this, would you exchange all your moisturising creams and your aftershaves for a tenth of the communion which Moses had with God? If you do, your spirits will rejoice while your bodies will continue in its year-by-year decay. But you won't have to go as far as the desert. Will you?
