Eden Sermon Recordings Catalogue

Welcome to Eden's recorded sermon service. You can listen to sermons preached at Eden in one of three ways:

• On-line - Most sermons preached by members of Eden since Autumn 2003 are now available in MP3 format for on-line listening or download.
• Compact Disc - Sermons preached by both Eden and visiting preachers are available in this format. Click the "ordering" link to find out how to order CDs
• Cassette Tape - Click the "ordering" link - note that tapes will continue to be available only as long as there is sufficient demand. We envisage that this service will eventually be withdrawn.

The on-line catalogue

All sermons which are available on-line have an "MP3" hyperlink in the main catalogue (see below). In addition, a date-ordered list of only on-line sermons can be reached via the "On-line" menu option on the left (to return to the main site from this page, click the Eden logo, or click the "back" button on your browser). Depending on the capabilities of your browser and the speed of your link you can either listen immediately or download the sermon for later listening. Each one is approximately 10Mbytes. Sermons by Eden preachers will usually appear in this list within two weeks of being preached.

The complete catalogue

You can view the complete contents of the sermon catalogue containing several hundred sermons. These are organised in two groups, "Bible" and "Themes", which can be accessed via the menus of this name on the left. The two categories are described below. Use the "Preachers" page to look up the preacher's name from the initials. All sermons are available on cassette tape. Each entry indicates whether the sermon is also available on CD and/or on-line, with a hyperlink for the latter. These options are not generally available for sermons preached before Autumn 2003.

Tapes and CDs are usually available within two weeks of a sermon being preached - however, the complete catalogue is only updated every few weeks, so the most recent may not appear.

Please note that occasionally some of the hyperlinks for bible passages may not work, since these are derived directly from entries in the master database which do not always conform to the format required to access the on-line bible at BibleGateway.com. We hope to correct these minor problems in due course.

Books of the Bible

Sermons in this section were preached on a specific book of the bible. The menu on the left allows you to select a book and view all sermons in the database preached on that book.

To scroll down the menu, move your cursor to the bottom or top as required, or use the wheel if your mouse has one. Please note that if a book does not appear in the menu it means that there are currently no sermon recordings available for that book.

Themed Sermons

Sermons in this section were preached on themes rather than on specific passages from the bible, usually because the preacher drew on a selection of biblical texts from different books in the course of the series or in individual sermons.

In some cases a particular book from the bible did predominate. These cases are listed under "Bible cross-references".
